man eats man, yet I..

Man eats man, yet I..

..must drink water. Dehydration is bad, especially when you watch corpses dug out of the streets you once walked in, loved in, saw God in. Must wear some eye makeup, and a perfectly ironed skirt, entertain the guests.. drink a cup of tea with two spoons of sugar.. must tell the story.. of the balcony with a view.. of beirut burning, isreal bombing, man eating man.. how terrifying It was.. How grateful I am for escaping.. must say I'm grateful.. must say anything about nothing in particular.. to keep talking.. and drink water.. and that cup of tea, with two spoons of sugar.

Must answer the question: where is he now?.. must turn on the news.. for the guests who wanna see.. corpses dug out of the streets you once walked in, loved in and saw God in.. must talk politics.. with the ones who wanna say fuck Israel, fuck Nasrallah, or fuck the Canadians.. must answer the telephone. As if nothing is wrong.. as if man isn't eating man.

Sadness and pain, life for life. A child’s life for what, land, hatred, a belief. Where’s god, Where is god in all of this, in all of us. A young woman’s life with a families hope of the future, a long happy and healthy life, ended, or to be lived in pain and scared for ever… hopes, dreams, futures ended in a instant, is this what life is, is it what we have become. life for land, for water.. for money..for what, why??? such sadness such pain... such hatred I cannot understand or comprehend. People telling someone they have to die, for what… land for god.. is this life....… I have such pain and feel such ugliness,,, such sadness,,,, there cannot be a right and a wrong… Can there be only be wrong.... Stand for life.. for god…. Be responsible for ones actions, not let innocents pay such a price. Such a cost…… wailing, death, dying, destruction all around me, pain and suffering everywhere, my ears, eyes, nose filled with it, the air to heavy to breath.... water your body and mine thirsts for, my hands, arms, legs and body tremble and are weak, yet it pours from my eyes like a unending, unyielding torrent…

In all the world is compassion lost, what of love, of hope and a future is there so much hate… is there so much hatred…. I do not understand, please tell me how, this can be..… how can one take a life…. How, please tell me how..….

I would like to say I am happy you are well, but you not, as you are troubled by all of this. I can say I am happy you are safe, and healthy. I can also say I am very sad and very sorrowful… very happy you are .....

It appears the Sodom and Ghommor for Saudi Eve has been taken out. The pervesions of Saudis in Lebanon are quite well known. That maybe why the Saudi family condemned Hezbullah for attacking the Jews who where murdering Palestinian families in Gaza.

Eve, I am glad to find you alive, if not well. My advice would not be to read the responses to this post unless you want your heart further rent.

I feel deeply for the people of Lebanon. I had great hopes. I feel deeply for you personally.

Still, I hope Israel rips Hisballah a new a**hole and destroys them militarily, socially, and politically. No more terrorist proxy armies. With them, Democracy is not FREE.

"What a cruel thing is war: to separate and destroy families and friends, and mar the purest joys and happiness God has granted us in this world; to fill our hearts with hatred instead of love for our neighbors, and to devastate the fair face of this beautiful world." - Robert E. Lee

    This isn't war. It's genocide.

    Ahhh...Nihilism at it's best.
but still it's something at least..it helps to reduce a Being to mere value these days.

human soul thrives on value. Nihilism, then, is in a sense like suicide and mass murder all at once.
what i meant was, the arab culture is becoming nihilistic..this is dangerous beyond comprehension, this is where europe was before world war one.
This asymmetric war is a part of this nihilistic view, because as i said earlier, this war ultimatly will not destroy structures, but souls.

Aoothu bilahi minash shaitir rajeem. Bismilahi rahmanir raheem.

To the satanic Jews, USA forces, and their secret Saudi Eve munifikeens. You are the ones defeated you are the ones confounded by Allah. --along with you Air Forces and Armies

Sufficent is Allah for Us an Excellant Guardian is He.

Syria needs to Hamas and Hezhollah several hundered thousands troops with even more advance missles for these devils. The first step is depending on Holy Qur'an and Hadith then the worldly weaponss of missles aimed at the Israeli Army and particuliar Air bases of the Israelites and their helpers. Get the planes and tanks on the ground.

May the Peace and Mercy of Allah and His Mercy be with Hamas and Hezbullah.

    Eve,

Such is life for us who are human, eh? Times of loving life and believing it to be glorious and other times when God's creation is marred by the creature God created. This is all part of our time on earth - taking the good with the bad, day with the night, and sunshine with the rain.

No promises of a perfect life that I have ever seen.

    Thinking of you... ;)

    SaudiEve,

Your beautiful words bless us all with knowledge and insight into this terrible conflict. This is all worse than homicide or genocide: it is fratricide. And when we destroy our brothers, we destroy ourselves. May God be with the people of Lebanon, and may the rest of the world come to the aid of their embattled brothers and sisters.

Peace to you. I pray that this war, and your suffering will soon cease.

The images of injured and dead Lebanese and Israelis is heart wrenching. Hezbollah hiding among the civilians is brutal. Israel bombing the civilian population is brutal. How does the region move forward?

I cannot understand how there are so many fanatic elements in the middle east. Is it a result of economics? Is it truly a distorted picture of Islam? I know very little about the religion. Does Islam advocate killing non-Muslims? As I said, I am ignorant on the matter and would like some insight from those with firsthand experience.

u said what ive been trying to say for 3 weeks so beautifully. thats exactly what it is. its beyond politics, its beyond what the news says and the intellectuals say, what the liberals say and what the islamists say, and it becomes so that you will agree with any of them and all of them, just so they will be appeased, and stop speaking. Because the images on the news hit you at the heart of who you are, and at the heart of your most precious memories. And it seems to be mass suffering but you're really all alone, you feel so alone, and no one really understands.

this is so sad when pople die in the name of god any god. it does not matter what god. it is man not god who seeks death. i hate no one not yet. i have seen what man does to his self and others. there is no genocide in war jut death upon death for the inocent. why can not the top dogs go to an island and fight among themselves and leave the rest of us alone to live our lives. why must evey war be about my god your god.
